District Prayer Retreat (Virtual) is coming!
While we will be unable to meet in person this year, we do still want to encourage you to set aside the previously scheduled dates for a personal (or small group) prayer retreat.
We will be hosting a series of virtual vision and prayer sessions based on our theme of open doors to the kingdom (see below for session times). We hope that you will join us to seek the Lord together … AND we also want to encourage you to take those full three days to get alone personally with God (or perhaps together with a few friends). Ideally, we would love to see you find a retreat centre somewhere and literally get away with God for these few days. You have all been working so hard to serve your churches through this challenging season (thank you!!). Would you now consider taking a few days to step back from the demands of this season and invite the Lord to lead you through an open door to the refreshment of your own soul? We believe that the key to thriving in this season is not running ourselves into the ground, but rather staying deeply connected to Jesus.
Please invite your congregation to a special missions night on November 18 at 7:00pm with special guest speaker, President David Hearn. Please join us for an evening of prayer, worship and inspiration as we hear stories of God’s work around the world through our Alliance family bringing access to Jesus where few or none have heard his good news.

C&MA PresidentIn 2012, General Assembly elected David Hearn as President of The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. He was elected to a second term in 2016. During this past term, David completed his Doctor of Ministry degree. David’s passion is to see the C&MA in Canada as a Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, and Mission-focused movement. He often quotes A.B. Simpson, founder of the Alliance, who declared, "This movement stands for a spirit of self-sacrifice, adjustment, adaptation and single-hearted love for people. We are called to a spirit so possessed with one supreme object, to gain men and women for Christ, that it sweeps over every other consideration in its over mastering purpose of love."
