Eastern Canadian District Staff Team
Rev. Curtis Peters, District Superintendent
Curtis began his role as our District Superintendent in August 2019. He has enjoyed getting to know the beautiful people from so many nations represented throughout the District. He is happily married to Tricia and loves having fun with their 3 adventurous boys: Lucas, Micah and Liam. Prior to joining the ECD, Curtis and his family spent 11 years as International Workers in Latin America with the C&MA.
Rev. Malcolm Billing, Executive Director
Malcolm oversees our district operations and helps develop resources to support our district churches. Malcolm is heavily involved in his local church (The Well) and has a passion for seeing how God is at work in new communities of faith, having been involved with New Ventures for years. Outside of work, Malcolm loves the outdoors, hiking, canoeing and camping with his wife Lori and two young daughters, Evelyn & Fiona.
Rev. Kathy Klassen, Director of Renewal & Leader Formation
Kathy brings a global awareness, having grown up in East Africa and lived out much of her ministry experience in the multi-cultural city of Toronto. Disciple making, ministering to university students, business people, seniors, and everyone in between, she is a catalyst for the deeper life and the abundant life Jesus promised, through the Holy Spirit.
Rev. Albert Mak, Director of Church Support & Development
Albert has served in three Alliance Canada districts over the past 22 years. He loves to walk with people through various life journeys to explore God's miracle works in different seasons and discerns God's plan in your specific context. His passion is to see all member churches have a healthy ministry environment and a safe space to flourish. He is happily married to Margot and has two lovely daughters, Celine and Carina.
Rev. Amanda Corbin, Director of Missions Mobilization & New Ventures
Amanda and her husband Kris have served over 16 years in the Alliance throughout Canada. Passionate for Missions both locally and globally, she loves to connect and network people together in partnership for the growth of The Kingdom. Whether it's sending new workers oversees to the field, or helping workers launch a new initiative on this field, Amanda is always ready to have a conversation about what being on Mission looks like to you! She loves outdoor adventures, road trips, coffee, reading and the occasional moment of peace and quiet.
